Credit for Life
Led by Dawn Creighton of Liberty Bank, this financial literacy exercise guides youth through reallife scenarios where they’ll learn about budgeting, credit, and decisionmaking. Participants will experience how money works, navigating through choices regarding housing, transportation, and lifestyle expenses, gaining practical insights into financial responsibility.
Cultural Exploration Through Cuisine
After completing the financial simulation, attendees will enjoy delicious ethnic cuisines. This celebration of global flavors is designed to connect participants with local business owners and entrepreneurs, each offering a taste of their heritage. From Latin American dishes to Caribbean and African cuisines, there’s something for everyone to savor and enjoy.

This year, we’re focusing on integrating cultural appreciation with essential life skills, ensuring that our youth leave with a better understanding of how to manage their financial future. Beyond the food and education, the event encourages community bonding and offers a platform for local businesses to showcase their talents.
